Welcome to the 2008 Rogue Run Website. For those of you that took on the challenge last year and didn't get busted sleeping under a tree in INDIANAPOLIS, or even if you did and are wanting to see what more mayhem awaits you....WELL GET READY, its that time of year again. As sticking with the Rogue Run mentality, the rules have changed a bit, but the basic concept has stayed the same... "What the hell does that mean fella's?" Well basically Rogue Run is still the same theory in the run portion...we will never do the same ride twice.
Now if you are really interested in joining the 2008 ride, here is the basic information on the ride... 1. The ride will start in the outskirts of Chicago, at Crown Autobody Shop in Lake Bluff. 2. The ride will head North to Manitowoc, WI, and cross Lake Michigan at midnight. (The cost of the ferry will be covered by the rider) While waiting on the ferry we are expecting to do some good old fashion bar hopping and biker style entertaining before launch. 3. Once across the lake we will take off from Ludington, MI and then it is South into Ohio, where we will end up at a motorcycle rally in Van Wert. At the rally there will be bikes, beverages and god knows what else. Bring a tent, beads, money for beer and a good attitude. UPDATE: Several riders will be leaving from the Louisville area on the morning of the 24th to head to Lake Bluff for the official launch of the Rogue Run. Again, you can use the RSVP link and someone from that group will contact you if you want to join in on "extra" leg of the ride. This year is a bit differant though, we would encourage all riders that are going to sign-in on the RSVP link. This is to insure that we know who is coming and how many will be attending since several areas of the ride, it is important to have a head-count. UPDATE: Also I have been getting many responses on the ferry crossing....I cannot stress this enough, call the SS Badger (Links all over the info section) and make reservations...If the boat pulls out, you don't want to be sitting on the shore waving to everyone else as the run continues without you!!!!
